The Theory of Wear and Tear

The systems might remain the same for a period of time, but the theory of wear and tear will surely come to pass on them. Your system could be anything ranging from your lovely shirt, BMW, policies, intelligence, skills, power, and even your rod of iron if you fancy one, wear and tear seems to be the destiny.

In the chain of production, there are stakeholders at each stage and they surely execute their duties as required of them. In the political arena and the country management, our political leaders should know where they stand and act intelligently for they hold the one key to development and prosperity to a large population and to an extend the future of a generation of a nation. Simple definition of intelligence is having the ability to reason logically and solve problem through proper planning. A leader should be a savant in service. Service to the people entails all aspects of life affecting them in one way or another. Humanity, no matter what part of the planet they inhabit, needs convenience in three basic things; receive education, good transportation system and last but not least good health services. With these three come the security of food, shelter, and clothing. Government or leaders for that matter should not feed us, build houses for us, or even dress us. But with the good institutions of learning made affordable and of standard, infrastructure in transport and communication, and proper health facilities provided, the leaders facilitate all the basic necessities of its tax payers. This to me has been human right since time immemorial.

Nature has proven that everything has got a time line. Leaders tend to get stuck in the old ways of divide and rule, pitching brother against brother, inflicting poverty to already impoverished people by perennial hand-outs- a piece of potato while dangling a huge-hallow carrot as a next bait..

It is just a matter of time before the theory catches up with this lot of visionless leaders. Education is the way and the youth are the keys and vice-versa. We must invest heavily in them for you reap only where you’ve sown.

The future is and will surely come and with it a lot of good things as well as negative ones. Technological advancements happening as we speak are enormous. Breakthroughs in different fields like medical, energy and science are storming. The challenges are equally many from unknown diseases, natural disasters, carbon footprint, to man-made catastrophes and many more. The future belongs to all of us but only one baton at a time passed from one generation to the next.

When you get worn and torn, will you find a replacement?
